The amount of money for yesterdays main winner was £1,835,507 – always thought even the Wednesday one would offer at least 2.5 million. Are people now realising they’ll never win the jackpot; what was the claim now…you have a one in 14 million chance?

There is a recession on as well, maybe people are pulling back on the amount they spend on the lottery for that reason as well as the fact most people now know the chances of a high value or significant win are ridiculously small.

I was wondering to put my money on lottery tickets every week to get lucky some day, just wondering if I am eligible to claim a lottery if I win a jackpot or anything bigger than £50000.Cuz on the lottery its says you have to be resident of UK and over 18 thats it…and I am over 18 and a temporary resident in UK on student VISA and sooner gonna be on work permit…so please let me know if I am eligible to claim or not?
Thanks

think so as long you are a resident at the time if not you could get a friend to claim it for you but I think that may be illegal
